On July 2nd, I started this WordPress site in an effort to combine all my blogs and build a dynamic blogging site. While building and customizing this site, I also flirted with the idea of starting this challenge. I have read Darren Rowse’s book: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income however the thought of committing 30 days seemed daunting and overwhelming so I bookmarked the idea to save it for another day.
This past Wednesday, while I should have been away at my regular networking meeting, I found myself at home instead due to an illness, online with the Twittersphere, and that’s when I found Darren’s tweet. I clicked on the link and discovered a community called Savvy Blogging Success and a group of people committed to the same challenge. I knew in that instant that I had found what I was looking for and the moment was now or never. Before I could hesitate, I signed up and thanks to Lisbeth Tanz and Michelle Shaeffer I’ll be on my way to a wondrous journey with 100+ other bloggers.
Today was our first conference call. It was a welcome call to answer any questions and there will 2 more scheduled as the challenge progresses. The challenge officially begins on Monday (with weekends off) and I can’t wait to see what this will do for my blog.
